Plainclothes and police attack Green mourners of Babol
They brought people to Ghasem Imamzade’s washroom and beat them up.
Green Way Movement (Jaras): Plainclothes and police forces attacked green mourners of Babol, beating and arresting them.
Before today noon a number of people in Babol started mourning in a neighborhood called Astane with slogans like “God is Great”, “We are not from Kofa, so as to get paid and stay silent”, “Imam Mahdi, come and root up the oppression”. They were assaulted by plainclothes and police forces.
The reports show that security forces took the green mourners of Babol to the washroom of Qasem Imamzade and they were beaten up there.

Based on the reports we received in Mashhad and Qom there has been some demonstration against the regime where regime mercenaries have shot at people. We don’t know the number of fatalities yet.

Jaras Exclusive / Special Guard Forces Refuse to Shoot People
Green Way Movement network (Jaras): Special Guard forces are disregarding the orders of their commanders and refusing to shoot people.
Jaras correspondent reports that clashes all over Tehran are intensifying and police has lost control of many neighborhoods. Military commanders have asked their forces in central Tehran to use direct shooting to disperse demonstrators. But forces are refusing the command, causing disputes between forces and commanders.
A Jaras correspondent present around Enqelab Square clashes says: “After this dispute, one of the guards said: “I will never kill the people of my own country”, he was then slapped by his commander who threatened him with martial court.
According to Jaras correspondent, more forces are joining the demonstrators.

People Disarm Regime Forces in Villa Street

Jaras Exclusive / Fars News Calls on Pressure Groups to be Present in Enqelab Avenue
Green Way Movement Network (Jaras): Fars News Agency, Revolutionary Guards’ “semi-official” news agency, issued a news titled “Mousavi and Khatami supporters disrespected the mourning day of Ashoora” asking Basij and plainclothes forces to go to Enqelab avenue.
Fars News wrote: “Instead of mourning, these people used the mourning day of Ashoora to chant subversive slogans against the Islamic Republic regime and its foundation, and started celebrating just like the enemy and Western media had wanted them to.”
While Fars News has accused supporters of the Green movement for disrespecting Ashoora, Special Guard forces, together with plainclothes forces, have brutally responded to mourning protesters since early morning. Reports confirm that 4 of demonstrators have been killed and many more have been injured.
Fars News described the current situation of Tehran as “Calm”!!

Clashes intensify in Shiraz, Ayatollah Dastqeib’s house under siege
Green Way website: Tens of thousands of protesters of Shiraz today organized a peaceful protest march but police forces and plainclothes responded with violence. Tens of thousands of Shiraz people (together with other cities in the country) gathered in central streets of the city, including the area around Cinema Saadi to Cinema Paramount, to chant slogans against the leader of the Islamic Republic. Police is also trying to disperse protesters by firing shots in the air and spraying tear gas. Also, Ayatollah Dastqeib’s house is surrounded by security forces and roads leading to Shahcheraq are under intense control.

Readers report: Eyewitness reports say Tehran’s Najmie hospital, located on Hafez-Jomhoori intersection is full of injured people. Hospital staff are surprised and this has increased the probability of the injured dead. An eyewitness said that those who are being brought to hospital have been shot in the head and chest. There is also news from all over the city that people in Vali Asr square have set a police station on fire. Unrests are spreading gradually to all neighbourhoods around the city. People in metro stations are under a brutal siege by regime forces.
